Author Guidelines

Authors must carefully follow these instructions to avoid delays in the submission, double-blind peer-review, and publication process.

Submission

Submissions must be made through the online system. Authors need to log in or create a new account if they do not have one. Please download and follow the Submission Guidelines (PDF)!

There are three documents that must be submitted separately:

  1. Submission Form (a scanned version is acceptable) (template).
  2. Manuscript following the Template (template).
  3. Supporting Documents (figures and tables):
    • Figures must have a minimum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels.
    • Upload figures individually and name them as Figure 1, Figure 2, and so on.
    • The total number of figures and tables must not exceed 10.

After uploading via the system, authors must also send an email to sciarctech@gmail.com. Only manuscripts that have completed all these steps will be processed further.
To ensure a complete submission, please refer to the Submission Checklist.

Revision

After submission, the manuscript will be reviewed for journal formatting, and authors may be asked to make corrections or add missing information.

When submitting a revised manuscript, authors must also include a revision note detailing all changes made and responses to comments from reviewers and editors. The revision note must be in Word format.

Download and follow the Revision Guidelines!

The following documents must be uploaded for the revision:

  1. Revision Note (template) – listing all changes made.*
  2. Revised Manuscript (must highlight changes using "text highlight color tools" or enable "track changes" in document editing software).*
  3. Supporting Documents (must be uploaded even if no changes were made in this section).*
  4. References exported from a Citation Manager (.RIS format) – see guidelines on obtaining this file from EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.

Publication

Once the manuscript has been revised, reviewed, and accepted by the Editor, the final accepted version will be stored in the online journal system of STEAM NATION JOURNAL. Authors can access it for personal use and self-archiving.

In STEAM NATION JOURNAL, Accepted Author Manuscripts (AAM) or postprints are not publicly accessible.
The final version, or Version of Record (VOR), will be published according to the schedule (January or July) and will be available with the abstract and full text without any embargo period.

The final version will go through the following processes:

  • Copyediting
  • Typesetting
  • Metadata application
  • Assignment of a DOI (Digital Object Identifier)

There are no submission or page fees for publication in STEAM NATION JOURNAL.
